Prominently displayed in our church is a banner with nine simple phrases that represent a collective call to action, a call to Be the Church. These days, we are called into new ways of being and doing, and in this series, we seek to find out what role or roles in God’s mission we are to take up, as individuals, and as a body - and how that mission nurtures our relationship with God, one another, and our community?
BUCC has the wonderful opportunity to be a part of our neighborhood's summer day camp. Sign up to volunteer and help us be a part of the community.

Sunday mornings before service
Come a little early and enjoy some fellowship with your fellow BUCCers over light snacks and coffee.
The Green Team develops the plan and manages BUCC's property, labyrinth, and gardens.
The Tech Team manages the slide deck and the live stream each Sunday morning.
The Clean Team works on a rotating basis to clean the church's public spaces.

Help us stock our community food pantry with non-perishable items, and take whatever you need.
Help us pack bags of food once a month for Fayette County school children in need.

Colonel (ret.) Pam Stevenson represents the 43rd District in the Kentucky House of Representatives. She is well known for her passion and drive to stand up for Kentucky's most marginalized citizens. Her passionate speeches on the floor of the House chamber on behalf of the state's trans community have been seen by hundreds of thousands around the world.

His recent book Bible Stories for Grown-Ups is quickly becoming a go-to for those seeking honest answers to some of the bible's most puzzling questions.

Bluegrass United Church of Christ is part of the Indiana-Kentucky Conference of the United Church of Christ, The Conference includes UCC churches in Kentucky and Indiana. We are also part of the Kentuckiana Association, which includes UCC churches mostly in the Louisville metro area. Bluegrass is currently the only UCC congregation in the Lexington area.
