What does it mean to be in awe? What does it mean to be a purveyor of Awe? Awe is a powerful emotional response that can significantly impact our well-being and perception of the world. It arises from experiences that transcend our usual understanding, like viewing a vast landscape, listening to powerful music, encountering an extraordinary act of kindness, or feeling especially close to God. To be a “Purveyor of Awe” is to be intentional about curating a life of spiritual depth. Join us this spring and summer of a season of awe!

BUCC was one of the first churches in Lexington to have a presence at the city's Pride Festival, and we've been a part of the festival ever since. We want to make sure everyone there knows how wonderfully loved, valued, and celebrated they are. Our Pride theme this year is based on 1 John 4:8, "LOVE HAS EVERYTHING! TO DO WITH IT." The festival will be back outside, and planning is underway now. Sign-ups for volunteers are available at the church.
