Lent is a time of reflection, and there’s nothing like a pilgrimage to conjure that up. Making intentional journeys has been a ritual of humankind across time and traditions. Inspired by passages in the Judeo-Christian scriptures that talk about the journeys, roads, and pathways of life, during Lent, we will make our way together through this season. The popular and poignant movie, The Way, about a father’s pilgrimage in honor of his late son on the famed Camino de Santiago in France and Spain, accompanies us as our modern-day inspiration to live the life we’ve been given to the fullest. Join us for a beautiful Lent season along The Way.

Every Sunday, during our worship service, Tiff Jones listens to the people and the Holy Spirit and creates a beautifully inspired piece of painted art. Her pieces are vibrant and emotional, and they bring God's message of love to life. Tiff's pieces will be available for purchase at the Ruho Qadisho Art Show & Silent Auction, Friday, April 17th, at 6 PM. Proceeds benefit the BUCC Caring for the Kids Food Backpack Ministry.
Ruho Qadisho is the Syriac Aramaic term for the Holy Spirit. It's often used in the prayers and hymns of the Syrian Orthodox Tradition.
